circuitmoss.com is run by one person on one server. Nothing collected here is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers or ad networks.

analytics

This site uses Matomo, self-hosted on the same server that serves the page. It is configured not to set cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner. It records the page you looked at, when, the page that sent you here, and your browser and device type. Your IP address is used to work out an approximate location. None of it leaves this server, and there is no third-party analytics.

mailing list

If you sign up, the server stores:

• your email address
• your IP address
• your browser's user-agent string
• the time you signed up
• a random token, used for your unsubscribe link

That is used only to send new sets and gig announcements. There is an unsubscribe link in every email, and you can also ask to be removed by mail.

server logs

The web server keeps standard access logs: IP address, time, what was requested, and the user-agent. They are kept for 14 days and then deleted automatically.

your rights

Ask for a copy of anything held about you, or for it to be corrected or deleted, and it will be done. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
